Meet the Officers of the SD Assembly of the Church of God

Pastor Joe Ganahl

Currently serves as the President of the Assembly. Joe came to South Dakota in 2004. He has a Communications Degree from the University of Northern Iowa. In 1993, God called him into full-time ministry with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. By late 1995 he was the youth minister of Highland Park Church in Casper, Wyoming. In 2004 he accepted a postion of Senior Pastor at Morningside Community Church in Brookings, SD.

Pastor TJ Carlson

Holds the Vice-President position in the SD Assembly.

He attended several schools: South Dakota State University, Warner Southern College, Mid-America Christian University and has had several majors: Secondary Education, Political Science, HPER- Health, Physical Education & Recreation, Church Ministries and Youth Ministry.T.J. has been on staff at Morningside since the summer of 2000, and presently is on staff full-time as an Associate Pastor.

Pastor Jennifer Sigl Akossi

She holds the Assembly Tresurer position. Pastor Jen is an Associate Pastor in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up in the Rustic Hills Community Church where she now serves, a local graduate from high school and college, she attended Seminary in Kentucky where she received her Master's degree.

                       Pastor Elaine Ganahl

Serves as the SD Assembly Secretary.  Pastor Elaine is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor who is on staff at Morningside Community Church in Brookings, SD. She has been in South Dakota since 2004.
